What was it like growing up on Kodiak island in Alaska?

Kodiak is an island with the primary industry being commercial fishing. We have a population of about 10,000 people. Growing up on Kodiak I learned the value of community of supporting each other. There are many resilient small business owners on the island that are a inspiration to me, my parents being among them.

How do you approach each project?

Brands are made by people with not one person being the same. I like to start by understanding the motivation behind each founder. After I know the core of a brand, I like to dive into knowing their community and how their product or service is solving a problem.

How do you want brands to feel when working with you?

I want each of my client's to feel like I am on their team and rooting for their success. I understand the hard work that goes into a small business, and that my job is bringing a vision to life in the digital space.

Both of my parents are small business owners, giving me a deep respect for the work that goes into managing them. Small businesses are critical to communities and I want to be a merging force between what these brand's have to offer and their communities' needs.
